Singapore Airlines has launched its new Premium Economy Class in New York City on flights from JFK to Frankfurt (FRA) and Singapore (SIN) featuring enhanced amenities, additional inflight entertainment options and a fresh design. Operating from its hub at Changi Airport, Singapore Airlines, the flag carrier of Singapore, is now offering this new cabin, which provides a Business Class-inspired experience, for fare ranging from 40 to 50 percent more than Economy Class. Premium Economy Class features a separate cabin of 36 seats, each with a seat width of 19.5 inches aboard the A380 aircraft, an 8-inch recline and a pitch of 38 inches. In addition, Premium Economy Class passengers are treated to a dedicated check-in line, priority baggage handling, and an increased baggage allowance of 77 lbs. Inside the modern cabins, passengers will find full leather finishing, a calf-rest and foot-bar for every seat, an individual in-seat power supply, two USB ports, a personal in-seat reading light, a cocktail table and more storage space for personal items.

Beginning Oct. 23, 2016, Premium Economy Class will be featured on two daily flights from San Francisco (SFO) with the addition of the A350-900 nonstop service to Singapore, and on two daily flights from LAX with the launch of the Los Angeles-Seoul-Singapore route operated with B777-300ER aircraft. Furthermore, Singapore Airlines is the only carrier offering a Premium Economy product between LAX and Seoul. For more information, visit singaporeair.com.
