The pink landmark Boca Raton Resort & Club, a Waldorf Astoria Resort, will open its pink ice skating rink on Nov. 1.
The rink, which can accommodate up to 100 skaters, will be open through Jan. 1, 2014 and offer figure skating demonstrations and holiday ice shows by the world professional ice skating pair champions, Frank Sweiding and Anita Hartshorn. Other holiday festivities at the resort include holiday performances by the Lynn University Conservatory of Music on Nov. 15 and Dec. 1; beach bonfires; a holiday boat parade with fireworks; a family holiday breakfast with costumed Random House storybook characters; and a New Year’s Eve block party.
The 1,047-room hotel features rooms with views of the Atlantic Ocean or Intracoastal Waterway and offers a half-mile of private beach; the Spa Palazzo; two 18-hole championship golf courses; seven pools; three fitness centers; and the new Surf School by Billabong.
