Universal Parks & Resorts recently announced two new additions to its park offerings—King Kong and a Ninetendo world.
Universal Orlando Resort announced its latest attraction, Skull Island: Reign of Kong, which will open summer 2016 at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
Skull Island: Reign of Kong will transport guests into a mysterious world where their mission is to discover creatures of unknown origins and fight for their own survival. The journey takes guests through ancient temples, jungles with prehistoric creatures, and caves. More details about the upcoming attraction will be shared at a later date.
Nintendo and Universal Parks & Resorts plan to bring the world of Nintendo to life at Universal theme parks. The Nintendo games will come to life with dedicated experiences and major attractions based on the popular games and characters. Nintendo and Universal creative teams are working to create the concepts and will announce more details in the future.
