Universal Orlando Resort will open its latest attraction, TRANSFORMERS: The Ride—3D, on June 20.
The new ride puts visitors center stage to experience the battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons. It starts in the NEST facility (the government’s headquarters that teams up with the Autobots to protect earth), and guests board EVAC, an Autobot created for the ride, to transport the AllSpark (energy source the Decepticons need to destroy the planet) to safety.
Universal Studios will also expand this summer with the creation of a new Simpsons-themed area, with the main attraction being The Simpsons Ride. The area will also feature the Kang & Kodos’ Twirl ‘n’ Hurl ride, Duff Beer, and Fast Food Boulevard, with food options from the animated TV show like Krusty Burger and Luigi’s Pizza.
