Discover The Palm Beaches, the official tourism marketing organization for Palm Beach County, has launched a community-wide initiative for tackling the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Included are a range of virtual experiences that let consumers connect with the destination from their own homes.

Sea Turtle Conservation
The Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC) in Juno Beach has launched a Virtual Coastal Classroom to combat the center closing due to COVID-19.

LMC is a nonprofit sea turtle research, rehabilitation, and educational institution that promotes conservation of ocean ecosystems with a focus on threatened and endangered sea turtles.

Since March 18, LMC has been broadcasting educational programming live each day from the Outdoor Sea Turtle Hospital for viewers to enjoy from their homes around the globe. Additionally, LMC hosts 15 to 20-minute virtual lessons on Facebook Live to keep the next generation of eco-advocates and eager minds focused and engaged with sea turtle and ocean conservation, and will also be running live trivia on Instagram and Facebook, with social media giveaways, each night at 9 p.m. EST.

Flagler Museum
“Gilded Age” National Landmark, the Flagler Museum, invites virtual visitors to experience its grandeur remotely with the free Flagler Museum app, which includes virtual tours as well as an audio tour, floor plans, images, events calendar and more.

When Henry Flagler’s estate in Palm Beach, named Whitehall, was completed in 1902, it was hailed by the New York Herald as “more wonderful than any palace in Europe, grander and more magnificent than any other private dwelling in the world.” Today it is a prominent tourist attraction and flagship for guided tours, changing exhibits, and special programs.

Visitors can learn about the history of Whitehall and Henry Flagler by listening to descriptions of rooms, objects, and Gilded Age life narrated by the Education Director, Chief Curator, and Executive Director.

Virtual Full Moon Yoga Classes at Hilton West Palm Beach
During the month of April, the Hilton West Palm Beach will be offering its popular full and new moon yoga classes virtually.

Guests from all over the world will be able to join yoga instructor Shelly Saunier as she guides virtual participants through a calm and reflective Yin Yoga class. The practice incorporates deep mindful stretches that open the body while relaxing the mind and spirit, and is suitable for all experience levels.

Virtual Bike Ride on The Palm Beach Lake Trail
The Palm Beaches have created a virtual bike ride down the Palm Beach Lake Trail, complete with waving palm trees and gentle breezes.
