An iconic 1962 motor lodge in Durham, North Carolina has been revamped into the new Unscripted Durham, a mid-century modern boutique hotel located in the heart of Downtown.
In homage to its past, Unscripted Durham highlights architectural designs from the original 1960s building, making use of some of its original tiles and materials, as well as its uniquely shaped ceilings. The 74-guestroom property also features brightly colored, retro-chic geometric shapes while still keeping its modern look. The property also houses a rooftop pool overlooking the city skyline, a coffee shop which transforms into a wine bar at night, and a pay-by-the-ounce taproom.
