In Santo Domingo’s reemerging Zona Colonial sits the luxury boutique Hodelpa Nicolas de Ovando Hotel, a designated UNESCO World Heritage site now offering three new packages to help lovebirds, foodies, and business travelers experience this Dominican city.

For couples, the property is offering the Timeless Romance Package including accommodations, an in-room set up of flower petals and candles accompanied by chocolate-covered strawberries and sparkling wine, plus a horse-drawn carriage tour of the Zona Colonial. Guests will also be able to take home a candle made from cacao mixed with orange or coconut made by Dominican chocolatier Kah Kow. For a Contemporary guestroom category, rates for this package start at $164 per night dbl.

The new Colonial Gastronomic Experience Package invites culinary enthusiasts to discover the roots of Dominican gastronomy through a 4-course dining menu at the hotel’s Restaurante 1502 and other food-focused offerings. This package includes accommodations, a welcome amenity prepared by the property chef, the Kah Kow experience tour, and the same take home gift from chocolatier Kah Kow as above. For a Contemporary room, rates start at $310 per night dbl.

For business professionals traveling to Santo Domingo, Hodelpa Nicolas de Ovando offers accommodations, roundtrip airport transfers, a welcome mojito, and a welcome amenity prepared by the property chef. For a Contemporary room, rates start at $200 per night dbl for a minimum 3-night stay.

All three packages include early check in at 12 p.m., late check out at 4 p.m., and a 20 percent discount on dining and beverages during your client’s stay.
