As a result of increasing demand for flight service from California to Mexico’s main tourist destinations, Puerto Vallarta is set to receive its fifth direct route by Southwest Airlines.
Starting on March 10, 2018, Southwest will offer weekly flights from San Diego to Puerto Vallarta on Saturdays. The 143-seater Boeing 737 will depart from San Diego at 7 a.m. and arrive in Puerto Vallarta at 11:40 a.m.
Southwest already operates direct flights to Puerto Vallarta from Houston, Los Angeles, Oakland, and Denver.
