Trafalgar is taking agents to South Africa for the brand’s annual Acclaim trip, which is the highest achievement of the brand’s Agents in Action incentive program.
Travel advisors will experience Trafalgar’s newest destination on a 10-day trip through South Africa complete with VIP surprises along the way. Advisors will start their trip in Cape Town, where the winning agents will experience highlights from the top selling Essence of South Africa itinerary including ascending the iconic Table Mountain and exploring the Cape Peninsula to the trend Camps Bay to Cape Point to penguins of Boulder’s Beach, plus experiencing the Be My Guest lunch experience with a family in their 18th century Cape Dutch home in the Cape Winelands. The trip will end in Trafalgar’s inaugural Gala en Rouge, which is set to be held at a secret venue.
“We always put agents first and recognize the importance of providing our valued partners with an opportunity to experience first-hand the incredible experiences and moments that Trafalgar offers their customers as well as our brand innovation,” says Gavin Tollman, CEO of Trafalgar in press materials. “With our seven brand-new African itineraries now launched and off to an extraordinary start, it was the perfect choice to take our Acclaim agents to South Africa in 2019.”
In order for agents to qualify for the Acclaim, they must book 40 guests, make one booking online, and book across four continents. Advisors will be notified via e-mail to make their progress and will also be rewarded with surprises along the way. While working up to reach the Acclaim level of the Agents in Action program, agents who book six guests achieve Access level and receive a surprise treat; agents who book 20 guests, make one booking online, and book across two continents will achieve Ambassador level and receive another perk and an exclusive reservations line.
“The Acclaim trip is renowned as the industry’s best trade incentive. And with us returning to our family’s roots, our agent partners are guaranteed that this will be an extraordinary trip, to an extraordinary destination, that will be spoken about for years to come. We are pulling out all the stops,” adds Tollman.
Trafalgar will continue to unveil surprises surrounding the trip in the coming months as advisors get closer to securing their spots.
Advisors can increase their bookings by taking advantage of Trafalgar’s 10 percent early payment discount (EPD) on Europe and Britain vacations running through January 31, and a 5 percent EPD on all other regions running through February 28. For more information, visit trafalgar.com.
