“We are excited to continue offering travelers new adventures with our expanded portfolio of trips, including five first-time country destinations and a wellness portfolio. We hope these expansions in our offerings including the itineraries, along with our new fleet of bikes, continues to provide an array of trip experiences that suit all our travelers,” says Luc Robinson, president and chief experience officer, in a statement. “In addition, we continue to see consistent growth in our Private Trips, which can be customized for large groups whether they are celebrating birthdays, anniversaries or other milestones. Specifically, we have seen growth in destinations such as the UK, Croatia, Greece and South America and are consistently expanding our private offerings to meet our travelers’ needs.”

With the popularity of e-bikes on the rise for all levels of cyclists, Butterfield & Robinson has also announced an all-new fleet of custom e-bikes that will roll out across their European trips for 2020. Created in collaboration with French brand, Moustache Bikes, the new e-bikes feature an industry-leading Bosch e-system, which means the motor is located in the center of the bike giving it a more natural-feeling riding experience. Additionally, since e-bikes are notoriously heavy, these bikes are made with an aluminum frame and carbon fork making them surprisingly lightweight and easy to ride.

The brand is also introducing a new fleet of road and hybrid bikes that were custom designed in-house using feedback from former B&R travelers. Former Butterfield & Robinson guide and engineer, Tim McDermott, led the redesign of the bikes and the resulting products feature lightweight frames with more user-friendly and comfortable riding components.
