Costsaver, a company aimed at independent travelers, has added Egypt to its product portfolio and has unveiled five new European itineraries for the 2020 season. The travel company, whose trips include accommodations, in-destination transportation, and expert travel directors plus time to tailor each experience, now offers over 40 itineraries.

 “From launching Egypt and expanding into more of Portugal, Italy, Turkey, and Scotland, we’re recognizing where our customers, both new and returning, want to go and we’re making sure that we’re ready to take them there in 2020,” says Melissa DaSilva, Trafalgar USA president, in a statement.  “Guests are telling us that they love the reassurance of the essentials, but it’s really the flexibility of more options that meet their needs and wants when they travel, so we’re excited to be giving them what they’re looking for, at a great price that they couldn’t get if they booked it themselves.”

The new, nine-day Footsteps of the Pharaohs trip highlights essential Egyptian experiences, including sailing the Nile, seeing the treasures of Tutankhamun, and exploring the Great Pyramids of Giza while allowing travelers time to be immersed in history, enjoy local delicacies and colorful souks at their own pace.  Departures start March 2020, and pricing begins at $1,750.

Costsaver will expand Italy offerings with a brand new 10-day Essence of Italy itinerary that begins and ends in Rome, with stops in Siena, Florence, Montecatini, Verona, Venice, and Bologna. Departures start April 2020; pricing begins at $1,575.

The new seven-day Picturesque Portugal itinerary is the first Costsaver trip to focus solely on this country. Lisbon, Tomar, and Porto will all be featured. Departures start April 2020; pricing begins at $995.

Costsaver’s new Majestic Scotland itinerary takes visitors on a seven-day journey through the country’s iconic cities and rugged landscapes and is the first Costsaver itinerary to feature Scotland exclusively. This trip will bring travelers through Edinburgh, Loch Lomond, and Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain.  Departures start April 2020; pricing begins at $1,075.

Treasures of Turkey offers the option for a 10-day trip or an extension to 15 days. Stopping in Safranbolu, a new destination for Costaver, Eski Carsi, Arasta Bazaars, and Troy will be featured. Departures start April 2020; pricing begins at $1,575.

The 17-day Discover the Baltics and Russia combines two of the brand’s favorite trips, taking guests through the capitals of the Baltics, including Riga, Warsaw, and Tallinn, and the grand sights of Russia, including the Red Square in Moscow and the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg.  Departures start April 2020; pricing begins at $2,725.
