The RIU Complex in Costa Rica that consists of Riu Guanacaste, located on Matapalo beach, followed by the Riu Palace Costa Rica has added a waterpark, Splash Water World, featuring slides, jets and games for guests of all ages to enjoy, and it’s part of the hotel chain’s all-inclusive program.

The new Splash Water World features five slides of varying speeds, like the four-lane Aquaracer slide and two body bowl tubes, in addition to various games with jets and water pistols, and pools with aquatic elements for small children.

With this new infrastructure, more dynamic activities are being added to the complex’s offerings. This new water park is located at the entrance to the complex in Guanacaste, so it’s easily accessible to the guests of both hotels.

The Riu Guanacaste hotel, that opened in 2009, is a five-star, all-inclusive hotel located on Matapalo beach. It has 700 rooms, five restaurants and five bars, in addition to three swimming pools and a multitude of activities and entertainment. In 2012, Riu Palace Costa Rica hotel opened with over 500 rooms, five restaurants and seven bars. The two share common areas, including the casino and spa, in addition to various shops. Guests at both hotels can enjoy the private beach area and gardens surrounding the two complexes.
