Yes, we know the ancient Roman city of Pompeii with its numerous temples and weathered sites is quite a ways away from the glittering Caribbean; however, Montserrat, the Caribbean’s modern-day Pompeii offers just as impressive volcano-shaped landscapes, and your clients can see it all from the seat of a helicopter on the Four Seasons Resort Nevis and Olveston House of Montserrat’s new Peaks of Perfection package.

Combining exclusive experiences under the dormant Nevis Peak volcano and Montserrat’s Soufriere Hills volcano into one eventful day, the Peaks of Perfection package begins with an early morning start in Nevis, where guests receive a boxed breakfast before embarking on a 1-hour chartered flight to Montserrat aboard Caribbean Helicopters. From above, guests can take in stunning aerial views of the entombed former capital city of Plymouth and surrounding towns. After landing in Montserrat, guests are greeted by their personal tour guide, who will escort them to various landmarks, including the Montserrat Volcano Observatory and the Exclusion Zone, an area that was previously restricted due to the 1995 eruption of the Soufriere Hills volcano.

Following the excursion into the Exclusion Zone, guests continue on to Olveston House, the home of late Beatles producer Sir George Martin, then enjoy a Montserratian lunch on the home’s verandah. After lunch, guests return to the Four Seasons Resort Nevis via a Caribbean Helicopters flight for a little spa time in the form of a cleansing Essence of the Peaks spa ritual, which utilizes mineral-rich volcanic sand and lavender oils to exfoliate the skin. Following the treatment, guests can relax under the spa’s sala deck and take a dip in the Japanese-inspired cold-plunge pool, overlooking Nevis Peak. Package rates start at $2,900 pp dbl at the Four Seasons Resort Nevis. For more information, call (869) 469-1111 or visit fourseasons.com/nevis.
