Shutterbugs who want to practice or improve their photography skills while exploring the far reaches of the planet can now hop on a Silversea expedition cruise to Antarctica and become a student of the newly introduced My Photo Academy.

Exclusively offered on the Silver Cloud, which offers voyages to Antarctica November through February, My Photo Academy will help guests of all skill levels learn more about the art of digital photography. Both group and private lessons will be available, plus an array of specialty workshops covering topics such as: introduction to photography; social media; and the use of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop software to edit photos.

Silver Cloud also features a photo studio filled with high-quality equipment for both MAC and PC users, as well as a printer available for use on a fee basis. Guests can also schedule a 20-minute, one-on-one appointment to receive guidance on photo editing, smart gear recommendations, camera menu options, and more.
