With Wave Season already in full gear, travel advisors looking to book their clients on a cruising vacation in the Greek Islands or in other popular Mediterranean destinations can set their eyes on Celestyal Cruises, which is now debuting new itineraries, refurbished suites, a Wave Season promotion, and more.

Extended 2019 and New 2020 Itineraries
This year, Celestyal Cruises will extend its season through December, and return to Istanbul for the first time since 2016 with its new 7-night Eclectic Aegean itinerary, sailing six departures from Oct. 21 to Nov. 25, 2019. The itinerary includes an overnight stay in Istanbul and calls at Volos, Greece for excursions to the mountains of Meteora, and to Canakkale, Turkey for excursions to Troy and Gallipoli. The Eclectic Aegean itinerary will also visit Heraklion and Santorini, and during its call in Mykonos will depart at 2 a.m., allowing guests to experience the nightlife that the island is known for. Celestyal Cruises will also launch a new Three Continents itinerary with five sailings departing between Dec. 2-30, 2019. The 7-night journey begins in Piraeus, Athens and calls at Alexandria and Port Said, Egypt; Ashdod, Israel; Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey; Limassol, Cyprus; and at Rhodes. Guests on this itinerary can also look forward to three included shore excursions designed to immerse them in the history and culture of these destinations.

In 2020, Celestyal Cruises will continue to bolster its new 7-night itineraries by offering the Eclectic Aegean between April 4 and May 9, 2020, with a second series of cruises beginning Sept. 5 and sailing through the end of October 2020. The Three Continents itinerary will sail from Feb. 29 through March 28, and Nov. 7 through Dec. 26, 2020. In addition, the Idylic Aegean cruises will sail from May 16 through Aug. 29, 2020.

Suite Refurbishments and New Services
Following the suite refurbishment of The Olympia, which was completed two years ago, sister ship The Crystal will also undergo an extensive suite refurbishment program for its 43 Junior Balcony suites and 16 regular suites. The program includes a top-to-bottom overhaul of the vessel’s suite furnishings, fixtures, and carpeting with renovations expected to be completed this winter before the 2019 Spring/Summer season and the new Fall/Winter sailings.

In addition, Celestyal has announced the introduction of a new Suite Concierge service on board The Crystal and The Olympia that will be offered at no additional charge to guests in select suite category accommodations. Upon arrival at the port, suite guests will be greeted at a dedicated check-in counter, receive priority embarkation status and have their luggage sent directly to the suite via express service. A Celestyal Cruises Suite Concierge will be on-hand to explain services, amenities, meal times and locations, as well as to answer any questions. A complimentary bottle of sparkling wine is also provided on arrival. The new service also includes assistance with unpacking luggage, if requested by the guest, plus a special pillow menu.

Food and beverage service, including organizing in-suite cocktails, morning tea and coffee service, as well as a daily delivery of fruit, canapes before dinner, and petit fours after dinner are also part of the new service. Each on-call Suite Concierge will also handle special dietary requests and make arrangements and reservations for additional activities and services such as private shore excursions, spa and beauty salon appointments. Suite Concierge Service includes assistance with packing in advance of departure and with organizing post cruise transportation and activities. Priority disembarkation is also a benefit, among many other perks.
