Adventures by Disney is offering new, themed European river cruise vacations for 2018, including special “Beauty and the Beast”-themed experiences along the Rhine, and adults-only epicurean experiences along both the Rhine and Danube rivers.

On the Rhine
On the 8-day, all-inclusive Rhine River Cruise, guests will visit the quaint villages that inspired the “Beauty and the Beast” films in addition to savoring special culinary experiences. The cruise features a “Beauty and the Beast”-themed dinner, plus the opportunity for families to watch screenings of both the live-action and animated versions of the film on board and tour the idyllic French village of Riquewihr. Other adventures featured in the itinerary include riding a toboggan and hiking in the Black Forest, exploring the famous storybook Heidelberg Castle in Germany, and (for the adults) sampling wine in a medieval basement wine cave. Several departures in June and July have already sold out, so you’ll want to book your clients quickly for the remaining departures in June, July and August.

Rates start at $3,829 per child; $4,289 per adult including accommodations, a daily choice of multiple excursions, all meals on board and select meals ashore, plus unlimited local wine, beer, and soft drinks with every onboard lunch and dinner, all onboard entertainment and adventure guides.

Adventures by Disney will also double the number of its food- and wine-themed sailings along the Rhine in 2018, offering two epicurean sailings during the fall starting at $4,289 per adult. Hosted by renowned chefs and sommeliers, these adult-exclusive sailings will serve up unique food and beverage experiences both on and off the ship, such as wine tastings, gourmet demonstrations and workshops, culinary walking tours in several ports, a French patisserie class, local beer and wine pairings, craft cocktail blending seminars and more.

On the 8-day Danube River Cruise, guests can cenes from the “The Sound of Music” in Salzburg, explore Bratislava and take an Austrian folk dancing lesson in Melk.
