The MSC Armonia has arrived in Miami as she prepares to set sail to Cuba for the first time. The ship will depart tonight at 7p.m. and will sail a 7-night itinerary, including an overnight stop in Havana over the weekend.

Guests will have the opportunity to take part in unique shore excursions, either during the day or at night, to experience the local culture. These experiences include riding in vintage American cars, cigar rolling and rum tasting, dancing in Havana’s largest night clubs such as the Tropicana Club. And, while guests are in port over the weekend, they can participate in the required people-to-people shore excursions during the day, and then disembark the ship again at night to go out and experience the city nightlife.

The fun doesn’t stop while guests are docked, MSC Cruises is bringing the Havana experience on board with a new Mojito Bar and a cigar lounge. For evening entertainment while the ship is in Havana, local musicians will come on board to perform.

In addition to Cuba, the 7-night sailing calls at Montego Bay, Jamaica; Georgetown, Cayman Islands; and Cozumel, Mexico before arriving in Havana on Saturday. The MSC Armonia will sail year round from Miami to the Caribbean and Cuba; balcony stateroom rates start at $1,169 pp.

The MSC Armonia is making it more affordable for families to sail together with the Kids Sail Free option available on many sailings. Plus, a higher ration of staterooms that can accommodate families of three or four in one room, make it easier for the whole family to set sail together.
