Victoria Cruises sails on China’s Yangtze River.

As cruise lines begin announcing specials for 2014 and their latest itineraries for 2015, we’ve pinpointed a few options for your clients, ranging from river and small ship cruising to the larger options on the market.

This year, Victoria Cruises celebrates 20 years of sailing on China’s Yangtze River and will offer a new excursion along the Goddess Stream tributary.

“Much has changed on the Yangtze River in the last 20 years, including the completion of the Three Gorges Dam project, which raised water level on the river allowing for an improved sailing experience with access to new excursions,” says Larry Greenman, manager of public relations and customer service for Victoria Cruises. “But while some things change, others stay the same and Victoria Cruises remains the finest guide for Western passengers interested in exploring the Yangtze River in five-star elegance.”

On the Grand Yangtze Discovery cruise, passengers can opt for the 8-night upstream or 6-night downstream trip, which include sightseeing east of Tichang with visits to Jiuhuashan (Mountain of Nine Lotuses) and Nanjing, which includes the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum.

Rates start at $1,610 pp dbl. For more information, visit victoriacruises.com.
