Hot on the heels of its bespoke 2-day Monaco Grand Prix 2019 experience, Silversea has announced details of next year’s Grand Prix offering and voyage options.

On May 25 and 26, 2019, guests aboard the Silver Shadow enjoyed the optional shore experience of watching the Grand Prix from the roof of a 4-story villa overlooking the track. The event included a Mediterranean lunch and a range of enrichments such as massages, nail treatments, 3D body photography and a racing simulator that enabled guests to compete virtually on the streets of Monaco.

Silversea guests were able to relax in the gardens and terraces of the villa before and after the race while sipping Champagne, enjoying canapes, listening to live music, and admiring motorsports-inspired artwork. There was also an opportunity to meet former racing driver, Felipe Massa, who was in attendance at the venue on Sunday.

“Welcoming our guests to such an exclusive venue for one of the world’s most incredible sporting occasions exemplifies the quality of experiences on offer with Silversea,” said Peter Shanks, Silversea’s managing director for UK, Ireland, Middle East and Africa, in a press statement. “This is a unique experience indeed and the feedback from our guests has been fantastic. We are already looking forward to hosting next year’s experience for the Monaco Grand Prix 2020!”

In May 2020, Silversea’s guests will have the opportunity to enjoy this unique experience as an optional extra on two voyages aboard the Silver Spirit. The 21-day Venice to Barcelona itinerary departs Venice on May 5, 2020 and calls at Trieste, Split, Korcula, Dubrovnik, Valletta on an overnight call, Gozo, Siracusa (Sicily), Lipari Island, Sorrento, Olbia (Sardinia), Rome (Civitavecchia), Porto-Vecchio (Corsica), Livorno (Tuscany), Cinqueterre (Portovenere), Cannes, Marseille, Monte Carlo, and Palamos, before arriving in Barcelona on May 26.

The shorter 9-day Rome (Civitavecchia) to Barcelona itinerary, meanwhile, departs from Civitavecchia on May 17 and calls at Porto-Vecchio (Corsica), Livorno (Tuscany), Cinqueterre (Portovenere), Cannes, Marseille, Monte Carlo, and Palamos, before reaching Barcelona on May 26.
