Crystal River Cruises is inviting travelers to explore the waterways of Europe this spring with the unveiling of four new Crystal River Getaways departing in March and April.

Designed with busy travelers in mind, these 4- and 6-day cruises are shortened segments of existing 10-day itineraries and will be offered on board the Crystal Mahler and the Crystal Mozart.

The Crystal River Getaways are packed with as much luxury, world-class cuisine, personalized service and cultural discovery as any Crystal voyage, but within a conveniently shortened itinerary that also offers great savings,” said Walter Littlejohn, v.p. and managing director of Crystal River Cruises, in press materials. “These sailings are wonderful options for busy travelers, as well as those who have not yet sailed with us and want to experience a taste of the celebrated Crystal Experience.”

The Crystal River Getaways include the 4-night Wachau Valley Getaway departing on March 29 and April 30, 2019 and the 6-night Danube Getaway departing on April 2 and May 4, 2019. The Wachau Valley Getaway sails from Vienna to Passau visiting Durnstein, Melk and Linz along the way. Highlights include shoreside explorations of the UNESCO-listed Wachau Valley by bike or helicopter, Vienna’s Imperial Schonbrunn Palace, Durnstein’s Schloss Gobelsburg Winery, and the pastries and city highlights of Linz. The Danube Getaway, on the other hand, will sail from Passau to Vienna with visits to Budapest and Bratislava. Highlights of this itinerary include an inclusive Signature Event at the Budapest History Museum within Buda Castle and shoreside explorations of the Bavarian forest and countryside, Bratislava’s culinary highlights, Vienna’s Jewish heritage and more.

Crystal River Cruises’ 2019 Getaways are now available for booking with fares starting at $1,349 pp.
