Eye on the World: Luxury Bahia Principe Runaway Bay

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

It was a scenic little drive down Queen’s Highway to the all-inclusive Luxury Bahia Principe Runaway Bay, Don Pablo Collection in Jamaica. From there, it was one eye-pleasing sight after another as I found myself exploring the expansive five-star property, which connects to sister property Grand Bahia Principe, in search of a tasty meal, a shady spot by the beach or pool to park my beach towel, and a fruity cocktail with my name on it. I found all three, plus a few other places your clients wouldn’t mind making themselves comfortable in—a cigar shop for those who enjoy the occasional stogie, a lobby bar that’s always packed with friendly faces and top-shelf liquors, and, of course, the Bahia Spa where they offer a relaxing Reggae Massage using cannabis-infused massage oil.

There are many reasons why you would never want to step foot off property, but I’ll give two that might sway you in the opposing direction: one, is the opportunity to unwind on a rafting adventure on the Martha Brae River, and two, is the chance to taste what is said to be the best jerk chicken in Jamaica at Scotchies. I’ll leave it at that, and leave you with this bit of patoisFlip through di photo slideshow below to si wah else mi discova inna Jamaica.
