Canopy by Hilton just opened its first West Coast property—Canopy by Hilton Portland Pearl District—last week. The new property is located in a revitalized industrial zone that has become a popular neighborhood with indie boutiques, art galleries, microbreweries, green spaces and eateries.
The new Portland Pearl District property marks the third North American Canopy by Hilton hotel after properties in both D.C. and Bethesda. This 153-guestroom property is inspired by its surrounding neighborhood, as the Canopy by Hilton brand focuses on delivery authentic travel experiences that are connected to the neighborhoods that they’re in. All guestrooms, including the 46 premium rooms, feature 9-ft. floor-to-ceiling windows, plus bluetooth alarm clicks, 55-inch TVs, complimentary WiFi, Nespresso machines, and filtered water stations on every floor. In addition, the hotel features industrial features such as hot rolled steal metal beams, brick walls and concrete floors in parts of the lobby, cafe and reception area, which is also known as Canopy Central. The hotel also features the only hotel rooftop fitness center in the city. The property also features art throughout the hotel, plus the property is home to a rotating exhibition space.
Canopy by Hilton Portland Pearl District provides guests with authentically local food experiences with an artisanal, complimentary breakfast using local ingredients. Upon arrival, rotating welcome treats may include a mini cupcake from Cupcake Jones or artisan chocolate from nearby A YEN for Chocolate. At night, guests can unwind and sample the latest local drinks from the beverage makers of Portland’s Distillery Row as part of the property’s complimentary evening tasting.
Rates start at $299 and Hilton Honor advance purchase discount rates are $249.
