The W Scottsdale is now offering its guests the chance to fly in the sky. The property’s new Adventure is in the Air package takes guests on a sunrise hot air balloon ride over the Sonoran Desert.
The new Adventure is in the Air Package at the W Scottsdale is presented in partnership with Hot Air Expeditions. During their adventure, which begins just before sunrise, guests will get to watch their balloon fill with air as they prepare for their ride. Then it’s off on the ride to the sky as the balloon soars about 5,000 ft. in the air while guests take in stunning panoramic views while also swooping down feet from the valley floor for special glimpses of giant saguaro cacti, coyotes, and racing jackrabbits. Once they’ve landed in the Sonoran Desert, guests get to toast with chilled champagne and a classic breakfast prepared by award-winning restaurant Vincent’s on Camelback. In addition, guests will receive two etched champagne flutes and two hot air balloon cookies as mementos of their journey.
The package is available Sunday to Saturday year-round with pickup times varying by month. Rates for this package start at $579.
