W Xi’an is now open, marking it the seventh W Hotels Worldwide property in Greater China and the largest to open in Asia Pacific. The property is located in the Qujian District, adjacent to Quijian Pool Park, and near the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, the Datang Furong Garden, and the Qujian Lake.

The W Xi’an is shaped like a W and its neon coat shines in the night as an iconic feature in the Xi’an city skyline. The design combines the past and future of Xi’an as it showcases the history of the region with visual displays that take guests through five ancient dynasties that once called Xi’an home. The hotel also features five labyrinths inspired by the Zhou, Qin, Han, Sui, and Tang dynasties.

A multimedia art installation with digital fragments of Tang dynasty architecture welcomes guests through a floating garden entrance. The 385 guestrooms and suites property feature spacious balconies, and each private terrace is purposely linked to the stage-like hidden mini bars so guests can treat themselves to a sip or bite while taking in the skyline. And, the Extreme WOW Suite, the most lavish of the 73 suites, features walls in a deep orange-red hue to signify the energy of the Silk Road.

Guests can enjoy four areas to socialize and dine including Wei, the all-day reastaurant featuring local cuisine and international favorites; Yen, the hotel’s signature restaurant with 11 separate rooms, which serves Cantonese fine dining and innovative Dim Sum; Fu, a trendy spot that provides guests with an interactive interpretation of the redefined traditional dish; and WOOBAR, which offers views of Quijiang and is a laid-back hangout by day and a lounge with a dance floor by night. Guests can also relax at the indoor WET pool or outdoor WET Deck, or indulge at the AWAY Spa.
