MSC Cruises has announced that sales for MSC Grandiosa’s maiden voyage are now open exclusively for MSC Voyagers Club members through Oct. 21, 2018.
During this period, members will not only have the first selection of staterooms, but also receive a special 5 percent discount on top of to their 5 percent loyalty discount. Sales will open for all other guests on Oct. 22, 2018. MSC Grandiosa will become the cruise line’s newest flagship, and will also be the first of two Meraviglia-Plus class ships to launch.
Departing on Nov. 10, 2019, MSC Grandiosa will sail through Northern Europe as well as the Mediterranean for its maiden voyage. Guests who will be the first to experience the ship can choose from a 10- or 13-night sailing, embarking in Hamburg and disembarking in Genoa, Italy or Marseille, France. MSC Grandiosa will also call Southampton, Lisbon, and Barcelona with an overnight stay in each port. After its maiden voyage, MSC Grandiosa will homeport in Genoa and begin 7-night sailings in the Mediterranean starting on Nov. 23, 2018. Destinations on these weeklong journeys include Genoa, Civitavecchia, Palermo, Valletta, Barcelona and Marseille.
In addition, MSC Grandiosa will be the third MSC Cruises’ ship to feature two brand new original productions from Cirque du Soleil at Sea. Other features include the ship-within-a-ship concept of the MSC Yacht Club, a Balinese spa, and 12 different dining venues. MSC Grandiosa will also be the second ship to feature the Zoe—a cruise digital assistant available in seven languages and designed to provide guests with a simple way to find out information in the comfort of the cabin.
