Celebrating Day of the Dead Baja Style

AdventureWomen
A group of women in Baja, Mexico on an AdventureWomen’s tour.

For decades, AdventureWomen has focused on women-only adventure travel itineraries, and now in 2019 the tour operator will add the Baja: Day of the Dead, Glamping, and Snorkeling experience to its extensive portfolio. This 7-day trip departing on Nov. 1, 2019 starts with guests participating in traditional Day of the Dead festivities in the town of Todos Santos, which will also serve as their home base throughout the stay. Once Day of the Dead celebrations are over, travelers can expect to spend the rest of their trip participating in morning surf lessons and yoga, horseback riding on the beach, swimming alongside sea lions at a permanent sea lion colony, and glamping on a secluded beach. Other highlights include wildlife viewing, hiking, cooking lessons, and more. Rates for this new itinerary start at $3,3990 pp dbl.

In honor of the mother-daughter team behind AdventureWomen, the company is also debuting for the first time ever a series of mother-daughter tours. For 2019, those tours include a trip to Baja, Mexico departing Feb. 16 and an Iceland tour from June 15-21.
