Nonstop service will be available on Norwegian Airlines three days a week between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) and Paris-Charles de Gaulle, (CDG) starting May 26, 2020.

“Today’s announcement of the Norwegian route launch from Paris to Austin marks the fifth transatlantic flight to AUS in only five years,” said Tom Noonan, President and CEO of Visit Austin, the official destination marketing and sales organization for the city, in a statement. “This is a testament to how Austin continues to grow as a premier destination and we are thrilled that Norwegian has invested in not one but two nonstop routes into Austin, connecting London and Paris to Austin.”

Norwegian will operate flights between Austin and Paris on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays between May 26 and September 20, 2020, and on Fridays and Sundays between September 25 and October 23, 2020. Fares will be priced as low as $219.90 in Economy, one-way, including taxes, and as low as $829.90 in Premium class, one-way, inclusive of taxes.

It launched its popular London service into Austin in March 2018. Both London and Paris routes are summer seasonal, to meet the high demand. Visitation from France ranks in Austin’s top ten overseas markets to the city.
