Queen Latifah is a Grammy-award winning musical artist, an actress, an author, and now she can add godmother of Carnival Horizon, Carnival Cruise Line’s newest ship, to her list of accolades.
Latifah will participate in the ship’s official naming ceremony taking place on May 23, 2018 during an overnight onboard gala in New York City.While on board, Latifah will also host a special Lip Sync Battle: Horizon showcase that is part of the cruise line’s reproduction of the hit Paramount Network series.
Following the event, Carnival Horizon will begin her summer schedule from New York that runs through September followed by the launch of year-round Caribbean cruises from Miami later that month.
