It’s a gigantic 450-ft.-tall hotel in the shape of a guitar. Instantly iconic, and unlike any other building anywhere in the world—and that on its own makes staying at the new Guitar Hotel, part of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, a unique experience.

The hotel completed its $1.5 billion expansion in October 2019, and now offers 638 luxury guestrooms in its Guitar Hotel, and an additional 168 upscale guestrooms—including swim-up suites—in the adjacent Oasis Tower.

“The hotel opened to incredible fanfare locally, nationally and internationally, and since opening has reported overwhelmingly positive guest response,” says Mark Tascione, director of sales and catering.

A Day of Pampering & Luxury
A must is visiting the 42,000-sq.-ft. Rock Spa, offering a range of treatments and wellness offerings as well as a sauna, steam room and hot tub. Also tops on the list is the “Bora Bora”-style overwater private cabanas, with butler service and outfitted with sofas, a private bathroom and water chaise loungers. The 13.5-acre pool area offers three distinct waterfront areas, including a beach-style experience with locally sourced Florida sand, a tropical lagoon-style setting with waterfalls and swaying palms, plus a large water expanse almost as long as three football fields that offers activities such as canoeing and paddleboarding.

Adding to the resort’s 19 dining outlets and 20 bars and lounges—recommend clients make a sharp detour to the Council Oak, a staple of the property from before its expansion—is the 7,000-seat Hard Rock Live, where clients can see performers such as Sting. And let’s not forget the casino floor itself, which houses 3,100 slots, 193 table games and a 45-table poker room.

But the ultimate experience is the guitar light show, a daily spectacular that showcases LED lights built into all sides of the Guitar Hotel, choreographed to change color and intensity to the beat of different songs. Six high-powered beams of light mimic the strings of a guitar-neck that project at least 20,000 ft. into the sky in a display that’s on par with anything you’d see in
Las Vegas.

“Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood,” says Tascione, “is a perfect destination for couples, families and groups—from high-rollers and spa-goers, to epicureans and music lovers, there is truly something for everyone.”

Exploring Beyond on Safari
Suggest your clients take an excursion off-property with Billie Swamp Safari, where they can explore 2,200 acres of untamed Florida Everglades preserved by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. They’ll enjoy traditional Seminole fare at the Swamp Water Cafe, before an up-close encounter with alligators, snapping turtles, parrots and more at the critter show.

They can then hop on an exhilarating airboat ride into the deep swamps to learn about the wildlife and plant life of this unspoiled ecosystem, and then wrap up the trip to the swamps with a visit to the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum on the Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation.
