The Royal Naval Dockyard, Bermuda’s most visited site, is little more than a skip away—and it’s a fitting place to pay respects to Britain’s oldest self-governing colony in its 400th birthday year. Spread over 75 easy-to-ramble acres, the Dockyard’s water-wrapped landscape and antique buildings are now filled with activities and attractions. Visitors tour the evocative Maritime Museum with its 6-acre story of Britain’s sizeable stake in the Western Atlantic, troll for finds at the Clocktower Mall and other shopping meccas, sample rum cake, paddle with dolphins, and linger over a cool one at a pub.

For distinctive treasures to take home, clients should check out the site’s Bermuda Craft Market, Bermuda Arts Centre, Dockyard Glassworks, and Bermuda Clayworks, where artisans demonstrate their skills and display their creations.

After a busy day at the Dockyard, clients should drift back to the resort to relax over late-afternoon tea, served daily in the historic main house. It’s prime time for enjoying the chef’s best treats and Cambridge Beaches’ best Britishness.
