Tours for the World is inviting travel advisors on a 2019 Uganda FAM for a chance to explore this eastern African country along with its wildlife.

The 8-day Uganda FAM will depart on March 26, 2019 and start with overnight stay at Kampala Serena Hotel where advisors can stroll around the property’s 17 acres of manicured gardens or take a dip in the Olympic size pool. After a day of rest, advisors will make their way to Kibale Forest National Park, where they’ll stay at Kyaninga Lodge and spend two nights. While there, advisors will explore the national park, which is home to the greatest variety and concentration of primates found anywhere in East Africa. It has over 13 different species including the black-and-white Colobus Monkey, the Blue Monkey, the Red-tailed Monkey, the Grey-cheeked Mangabey and the Bushbaby. With over 1,000 chimpanzees living in its dense forest, guests to the park will also be able to observe these animals as they feed and socialize.

Next on the itinerary is a stay at Mweya Safari Lodge and a boat cruise on the nearby Kazinga Channel for views of the local wildlife including elephants, crocodiles, hippos, buffalos and hundreds of birds. The following day, advisors will join a lion monitoring research team and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an experiential tracking of lions. The last two days of the trip will conclude with a stay at Ishasha Wilderness Camp, a visit to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and a mountain gorilla tracking experience.

Rates for this Uganda FAM start at $4,299 pp dbl including accommodations, all activities, taxes, and fees, plus some meals.
