Classic Vacations’ website is now dedicated exclusively to travel agents, requiring consumers to book through an agent.
“Travel advisors are the core of our business and this is just one of our ongoing service enhancements to show our support and loyalty to them,” says David Hu, president of Classic Vacations.
The updated website will allow consumers to view travel-inspiring content, but they won’t be able to check rates, view hotel availability, or receive a quote. These features will be reserved for travel agents, and if consumers want to make purchases, they will be directed to a list of travel advisors.
To access the travel advisor-exclusive booking engine, agents can register to be a member of Classic Assist, Classic Vacations’ portal for agents, at classicassist.com.
