Austin Adventures is helping out travel advisors when they need it most. The tour operator company is offering a two-part stimulus program for travel advisors as they navigate changes within the travel industry due to the effects of COVID-19.

The program includes the following:

  1. Austin Adventures will pay travel agents half of their commission for all new bookings in 2020 and 2021 at the time of booking, rather than paying commission only after the bookings take place. Valid through June 1, 2021.
  2. Austin Adventures is setting aside special departures for travel agents and their customers from the fall of 2020 through 2021. Each agent who books 10 customers on their departure will get the 12 percent commission, in addition to free travel for themselves and a traveling companion.

“I think this is admirable to assist advisors with this new program,” said Ralph I., a 30-year veteran of the travel industry in press materials. “Since COVID-19, we’ve been thinking about new opportunities clients can drive to, like our national parks. Austin Adventures seems to be a great option, considering all the refunds, rebooks and cancellations that have brought us down. It is so refreshing to see this new option from Austin.”

The founder and CEO of Austin Adventures, Dan Austin, designed the program to help stimulate the travel economy and provide much deserved immediate relief to the travel professional community.

We wanted to do our part to recognize and support the travel professional community, as well as to help our friends get back on their feet.”
