Now in its 77th year, the Miami International Boat Show will welcome thousands of boating enthusiasts to the 2018 event with new features and VIP experiences.

Boat lovers can head to the Miami Marine Stadium Park & Basin over President’s Day weekend, where they’ll find more than 1,400 boats to browse, board and buy. The event will also feature a wide variety of food and beverage vendors, Discover Boating Hands-On Skills Training workshops, and more than 200 boats available for sea trials for serious buyers.

Making its debut this year will be the all-inclusive VIP experience granting 1-day entry to the show and all its features, as well as complimentary food, drink, and entertainment that guests can enjoy from the comfort of a multi-story VIP deck and lounge that offers views of the boat show and Miami’s skyline.

Also new to the 2018 Miami International Boat Show is the combination of sailing and power boats under one venue. For the first time in its history, the Strictly Sail Miami event will join forces with the Miami International Boat Show to create a more comprehensive boating event. More than 50 sailboats—catamarans and monohulls—will be in the water, while sailing exhibitors will showcase sailing gear and accessories in a designated area called Sailor’s Cove. Daily educational seminars presented by the top sailors in the industry, plus meet-and-greets with well-known sailing experts will also be a part of the event.

For those traveling from outside of South Florida to attend the show, the Miami International Boat Show has partnered with several local hotels to bring attendees discounted rates for their stay. Hotels with discounted rooms include Conrad Miami, Hyatt Regency Miami, InterContinental Miami, JW Marriott Miami, Loews Miami Beach Hotel, and more. Rates start at $285 per night.
