Entertainers Lady Gaga and Dua Lipa have swooned over this Miami Beach property, so why not your clients? Pops of color, 1950s glamour, modern comforts and locally made tasty treats all come together at The Confidante to create a playful beachfront resort that your clients will go “gaga” over.

The Confidante
Miami Suite.

Brag-Worthy Rooms
The property originally opened as the 16-floor Lord Tarleton Hotel in the 1940s, one of three towers that today make up the entire 354-room property, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt. Because it’s divvied up into three towers—one part Art Deco, one part Miami Modernism, and one part 21st century design—not all rooms are made from the same mold, adding a unique quality to one’s stay. Then there are whimsical touches such as funky accent lamps, 1950s-inspired headboards, and furniture pieces, such as a retro bar cart, that pay homage to Miami Beach’s golden era. Clients with deep pockets might want to opt for one of the 14 suites, spacious accommodations with a private living room and a dining room, decked out in vintage furniture, and terraces with artificial turf that are made for lounging during pre-dinner drinks with the ocean as the backdrop and the city’s twinkling lights in the foreground.

Fun Spots
There are so many fun spots to hang out at the resort, from the rooftop fitness center—yoga, anyone?—and the rooftop spa with two air-conditioned spa cabanas, to the poolside cabanas and bungalows, not to mention the white-sand beach, your guests are never going to want to go offsite.

At the newly renovated spa, there’s a new menu that features one of the coolest treatments we’ve ever heard of—customized crystal massage journeys created in partnership with Glacce, renowned for its crystal water bottles. Guests can choose from three, 50-minute multi-sensory experiences ranging from jet lag to a broken heart. There’s also a 50-minute Chill It après sun treatment, ideal for those who’ve spent too many hours sunbathing, as well as the Tropical Cacao Scrub, an all-natural chocolate scrub blend created exclusively for the hotel by Miami’s first bean-to-bar chocolate factory, Exquisito Chocolates (located in Little Havana, the chocolate maker uses ethically sourced cacao from across the Caribbean and Latin America). At the fitness center’s alfresco area, guests can participate in greenmonkey yoga sessions, or they can opt for some oceanfront boxing classes by SOBEKICK Boxing.

The two heated pools—one’s family-friendly and the other, adults-only—are surrounded by colorful cabanas accommodating five persons as well as spacious bungalows where 10 persons can hang out comfortably. There’s happy hour every day from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and weekends are abuzz with live DJ entertainment, and fresh juice cocktails on Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m. and on Sundays, from noon to 4 p.m. Those who prefer the city’s natural wonders, aka beachside on the Atlantic, have access to pastel beach chairs, umbrellas and daybeds, where hotel staff are at the ready providing full food and beverage service.

Cielito Artisan Pops.

Uniquely Miami
We mentioned that chocolate-infused spa treatment, right? Well, if you want to take a bite out of Exquisito’s chocolate goodies, the hotel offers a selection of four Exquisito truffles, including the hotel-exclusive truffle known as The Confidante Truffle. Another Confidante-exclusive delight is The Confidante Pop, created by Cielito—located in Wynwood, this is Miami’s first artisan ice pop store of its kind. The shop has partnered with The Confidante to create a Cielito Artisan Pops Signature Cocktail Pairing Menu as well as a roving Confidante Cart with local offerings.

Also uniquely local is the hotel’s rotating local art exhibit, featuring a new Miami-based artist every few weeks, as well as the Cafecito Bar, paying homage to the city’s famed cafecito restaurants. The Cafecito Bar offers everything from the city’s famed cortaditos and cafe con leche made with Cuban coffee Bustelo to delicious guava and cheese pastelitos.

The Confidante
Bird & Bone.

And, of course, a fabulous hotel has to have a restaurant that delivers a top-notch culinary journey. The laid-back Bird & Bone does just that, with a menu that features American comfort food and a countryside farmhouse vibe.
