Travel Advisor Appreciation Month has started with a bang as tour operators, cruise lines, hotels, and resorts around the world show you just how much they love their travel advisor partners by dishing out extra perks all throughout May. In honor of the special occasion, Riviera River Cruises is offering an incentive that benefits both travel professionals and their clients. For each new cabin booking on select Riviera departures by May 31, 2019, travel advisors and their clients will receive a Visa gift card valued at up to $500. Clients will be mailed their gift cards before departure so they can shop in Riviera River Cruises destinations within the European Union, and advisors will receive a gift card of the same value. In order to qualify, the bookings must be made with deposits submitted by May 31, 2019.
Advisors and their clients will each receive a $500 Visa gift card per cabin booked on the Cruise the Heart of Europe and Budapest to the Black Sea itineraries with departures scheduled for July through October 2019. A $250 Visa gift card will be given to advisors and their clients for booking on The Douro, Porto & Salamanca and The Blue Danube river cruises on all sailings July through August 2019. Advisors and their clients will also each receive a $250 gift card per cabin booked on July, August and October 2019 departures of the Rhine Cruise to Switzerland River Cruise; and July through October 2019 departures of Burgundy, The River Rhone & Provence River Cruise.
Azamara Shows Its Appreciation
Meanwhile, Azamara Club Cruises is offering travel advisors the chance to win a complimentary trip, plus tuition to register and become a certified travel associate. Through the We Appreciate You Sweepstakes, every new booking made during the month of May will earn travel advisors a chance to win a trip for two on a 2019 Azamara Quest Alaska voyage in Club Oceanview stateroom, plus $1,000 Azamara Air credit. In order to participate, advisors must register and attend a live taping or pre-recorded version of the Travel Advisor Appreciation Month webinar. This webinar will also provide further details on how to enter the sweepstakes.
Azamara has also partnered with The Travel Institute to give 20 travel partners a chance to become Certified Travel Associates at a fraction of the usual cost. The randomly selected winners will receive $266 in tuition, leaving them to fund an additional $166 to take the course. Once the winners are chosen, they will be given a link to register and a coupon code, which includes their $266 in tuition.
In addition, on May 2, 2019, Azamara Club Cruises will release the first-ever Travel Advisor Guide (TAG), which will be linked to the brand’s Trade Newsletter. Coinciding with Travel Advisor Appreciation Month, the guide provides educational sales tools that will educate advisors how to sell Azamara voyages to their clients.
