Blue Walk is featuring an Italy-Umbria FAM, May 25-31, 2020, that is a wine and culinary tour through the Umbrian countryside. Six nights will be spent in the historic center of the Etruscan city of Orvieto with daily walks to Civita di Bagnoregio, guided tour of nearby Etruscan tombs, visits to an estate winery, olive oil museum and Lake Bolsena. Along the way, local specialties and food of the region will be enjoyed. All walks are optional and can be modified for longer and shorter distances.

A not-to-miss highlight is Marmore waterfall, the tallest man-made waterfall in the world, that was created by the Romans to drain water from the Velino River. Italy’s fourth-largest lake is found in Umbria, Lake Trasimeno.

The farewell lunch will feature an antipasto buffet, followed by homemade pasta, main dishes and locally produced wines. Traditional, handmade, award-winning, and organic, cheeses and charcuterie offered are all made on property. Following the meal will be a tour of the sheep and goat milking process.

The FAM is $1,395 dbl. A single supplement is $275; and a companion supplement is an additional $100, and agents can bring one guest at this rate.
