Tara Tours is offering a 7-night FAM to Colombia from Oct. 19-26, 2016. The Colombia Travel Agent Experience itinerary features visits to the capital city of Bogota, plus Cali and Cartagena. The trip begins in Bogota with a tour of the Zipaquira Salt Cathedral, followed by lunch at the famous Andres Carne de Res restaurant. Afterwards, guests visit the Plaza de Bolivar before moving on to the Colonial district of La Candelaria and the Gold Museum where a collection of 30,000 pre-Columbian ornaments are housed. The day ends with a cable car ride to the top of Monserrate mountain. In Cali, guests are treated to a salsa lesson and a city tour along the Cali River and Sixth Avenue. The tour ends in Cartagena, after a chiva (local open-air colorful bus) ride and visits to the Convent of La Popa, the La Virgen de la Candelaria and the 17th century San Felipe fortress.
