There are only a few spaces left on Sophia’s Travel’s 10-day FAM trip to Georgia and Armenia departing May 27, 2017. On this small group tour, led by Sophia Kulich herself, agents will learn about the history and Jewish heritage of these two emerging, under the radar destinations, plus eat local food and enjoy the countries’ picturesque sceneries.

In Georgia, guests are able to attend a pottery workshop in the village of Shrosha, where every single family works with pottery; watch a Polyphony concert during a traditional Georgian dinner party; and learn how to prepare the famous Georgian barbecue Mtsvadi and churchkhela (a traditional Georgian sweet snack) at the Village Corner in Kvareli.

Meanwhile, Armenia offers its own culinary enticements including a brandy factory tour and brandy tasting in Yerevan during an excursion at a factory that has preserved the traditions of its brandy manufacturing since 1887; a homemade vodka tasting in the Garni Canyon, a lavash (Armenian bread) baking demonstration, and honey tasting in the Odzun village.
