Azores FAM
Travel advisors on the Azores FAM will visit Terceira Island among several other locations throughout the archipelago.

With the popularity of Portugal continuously on the rise among travelers, FAMTrips.travel is working with the Azores Promotion Board to bring a small group of travel advisors on an all-inclusive Azores FAM departing this spring.

The 16 advisors chosen to participate in this FAM will spend nine days exploring the Azores archipelago with extensive touring of Terceira Island, Faial, Pico, and Sao Miguel Islands included in the itinerary. Highlights of the Azores FAM include a walking tour of Angra do Heroismo, the only city in the archipelago to receive UNESCO World Heritage site designation; exploring Monte Brasil, an extinct volcano; embarking on a whale watching trip; visiting tea and pineapple plantations on Sao Miguel Island; and stops at a Whalers Museum and Wine Museum.

FAMTrips.travel will assist agents in booking their airfare to ensure they are booking themselves on the correct flights using Azores Airlines. From Boston, the present FAM rate, which will include the international roundtrip and three domestic flights within the Azores, is priced at $625 pp. The same itinerary from Chicago including international flights connecting through Boston on Azores Airlines and including all three domestic flights in Azores is approximately $750 pp. Other gateways throughout the U.S. are available with connections through Boston.

The Azores FAM rate also includes four-star accommodations throughout the trip, all touring on each island, all meals, individual rooms for each travel advisor, airport transfers, and professional tour guides.
