FAMTrips.travel and AmaWaterways are inviting travel agents to discover the renowned vineyards and breathtaking landscapes of the France-Bordeaux region on an 8-day Cruise FAM departing April 20, 2017 or Aug. 3, 2017. At each destination, guests will have the opportunity to visit local winery and historic locales. For example, in Cadillac, a region praised for its white wines, guests will visit the Sauternes wine region to taste the highly sought-after sweet wines made there. Afterwards, they’ll see the meticulously preserved Roquetaillade Castle, which is still owned by the original noble family that has possessed it for hundreds of years.
Agents can also choose to add an optional 2-night stay in Paris to their itinerary, which includes a panoramic tour of the city’s top sights, or a 3-night post stay in the Loire Valley. For a more complete experience, agents may also cruise one week prior with AmaWaterways from Paris to the beaches of Normandy on the AMALyra either from April 13-20 or from July 27-Aug. 3.
