Frontier Airlines has added 25 nonstop routes including service to Cancun, Guatemala City, San Salvador and service to two new destinations in the Dominican Republic: Santiago and Santo Domingo. In addition, the airline has plans to have a crew based in Miami.

Opening in March, Frontier’s newest base in Miami will grow to more than 100 flight attendants and 30 pilots within the first three months. This move will result in additional flexibility scheduling flights and increased reliability.

“Frontier is among the fastest growing airlines in the U.S. and we are excited to introduce 25 new routes including more flights from Newark, expansion in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico and new flights to Guatemala City and San Salvador,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial for Frontier Airlines, in a statement. “We recognize the demand for affordable air travel in these communities and are proud to bring our brand of ‘Low Fares Done Right’ to these sought-after destinations.”

New routes from BWI will go to El Salvador International Airport, Miami International Airport and San Juan Airport. New routes from MIA will service Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, Baltimore/Washington Thurgood Marshall Airport, El Salvador International Airport, La Aurora International Airport, Long Island MacArthur Airport, Ontario International Airport, Santo Domingo Airport, and Trenton-Mercer Airport.  New routes from EWR will service Cancun International Airport, Chicago O’Hare International Airport, Denver International Airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Ontario International Airport, Raleigh-Durham International Airport, Tampa International Airport, Santiago de los Caballeros Cibao International Airport, and Santo Domingo Airport. New routes from Ontario International Airport will service El Salvador International Airport, McCarran International Airport, Miami International Airport, La Aurora International Airport, and Newark Liberty International Airport. New routes to San Juan Airport will be from BWI, Boston Logan International Airport, Chicago O’Hare International Airport, and Santo Domingo Airport.
