The Autograph Collection Hotels knows a pretty thing when it sees it, so it’s no surprise to yours truly that the fabulous Hotel Beaux Arts recently joined the Autograph Collection. This 44-room, sleekly designed property, located on the 38th, 39th, and 40th floors of one of Miami’s downtown skyscrapers, offers, says Paul C. Pebley, corporate director of sales & marketing for MDM Hotel Group, umbrella company to the hotel, “an elevated, intimate, enclave that is synonymous with the Autograph Collection tagline, Exactly Like Nothing Else.”

Deluxe Bayview Corner Room, one of the accommodations at Hotel Beaux Arts.

And what makes the Hotel Beaux Arts “exactly like nothing else”? The breathtaking views, for one—of Miami’s glittery downtown skyline and the bays that embrace it. Its high-end amenities—think Bang & Olufsen HD-LCD flat-screen TV and in-room Apple iPad Mini. Its deliciously decorated accommodations that feature Italian marble baths and illyCafe espresso machines. And its contemporary art collection. The latter is quite spectacular, in fact. The boutique hotel partners with Miami’s local art gallery, Artscape Lab, to provide a periodically rotating art collection throughout the hotel.

Open the door to any of the property’s guestrooms and you’ll be awed with the spectacular quality in design. It’s all about celebrating high-style living in these accommodations, with floor-to-ceiling windows, sleek furniture, a palette of grays, blacks, and whites complemented by dark Brazilian cherry hardwood floors—all allowing the tasteful art pieces to stand out. There are even art books for guests to peruse, although the sophisticated bathrooms, with their Molton Brown amenities and that aforementioned imported Italian marble bath will be calling their name.

Step outside the accommodations and guests will find L’Atelier lounge with an all-day menu that features bar bites, healthy options, cocktails and wine, as well as daily breakfast. Down in the lobby there’s the db Bistro Moderne where Daniel Boulud creates a menu that pairs traditional French cuisine with flavors of the Miami scene. And there’s an array of entertainment options such as an indoor golf school, a virtual bowling alley, a 3D media room, a 10,000-sq.-ft. NBA-approved basketball court, a stainless steel sky pool, an enliven Spa & Salon and a Met 2 Fitness Center.

And what exactly does the Autograph Collection’s name recognition bring to the table for the Hotel Beaux Arts? We posed that very question to Pebley, who said, “its global presence and the marketing support around it creates greater visibility and distribution for Hotel Beaux Arts to an audience that has enthusiastically embraced the value of uniqueness when traveling.”
