Kempinski Hotels recently announced that it has joined the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA).

Founded in 1897, Kempinski Hotels is the oldest European luxury hotel group and as Theo Ocks, v.p. global sales Kempinski Hotels, explained in press materials, “it makes a lot of sense for Kempinski to join ASTA.

“In a time where so many hotel stays are forgettable, Kempinski specializes in curating bespoke experiences in unique environments, that will stay with people long after they leave our hotels,” Ocks said in press materials. “In order to translate the value of that experience we rely for a large part on the luxury travel professional community and are delighted to fortify this relationship even more by joining ASTA.”

Kempinski Hotels continues to support U.S. agencies with 10 percent commission on guestroom and group bookings, parity rates with kempinski.com and global sales support.
