Silversea Cruises has unveiled details of its 2018 Couture Collection, an exclusive series of nine pre- and post-cruise travel experiences in the most remote and untouched regions of the world.

The series of 5- to 11-day ocean and land adventures has been custom-designed down to the smallest detail, drawing on the inspiration of Silversea guests and a survey of North American travelers’ “dream destinations” and most sought-after cultural experiences. The programs are limited to small groups and include most meals, beverages and exclusive culinary events. Guests will stay in luxury accommodations such as boutique hotels, lodges and private tents specifically built for these adventures. Each bespoke adventure is fully escorted and includes amenities such as a private helicopter service in Mongolia, vintage rail travel in India, and Gulfstream jets in and out of Antarctica. Prices average at $34,000 per guest, with the 11-day South Pole adventure starting at $78,000 per guest.

“Our guests are seasoned luxury travelers looking to discover the least accessible corners of our planet, where nature can still astound with its untouched beauty,” said Silversea’s executive chairman Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio in a press release. “The Couture Collection reveals the most exotic places, cultures and people on carefully curated journeys that feature all the extraordinary touches of comfort and luxury for which Silversea is renowned.”

Sample tours include Rwanda & Serengeti: Walking in the Footsteps of Giants, where guests will explore the rainforests of Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park while searching for mountain gorillas on a 2-day trek, and then seek out big game in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its annual migration of wildebeest, gazelles and zebras. The 8-day tour starts at $19,959, departs on Nov. 20 or 27, and is combinable with Silver Discoverer expeditions departing on Nov. 16 or 27.
