The Golden Triangle FAM, the Golden Triangle FAM Tour with Varanasi, and the Rajasthan FAM will have scheduled departures starting April 1, 2019. The 5-night Golden Triangle FAM will start and end in Delhi with overnight stays in Jaipur and Agra along the way. Highlights of this FAM include visiting the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, visiting Lakshminarayan Temple—a modern Hindu temple, exploring Jaipur’s Amber Fort, and a morning visit to the Taj Mahal. The 6-night Golden Triangle FAM Tour with Varanasi follows a similar itinerary with the addition of a trip to Varanasi for a morning boat excursion on the Ganges river, plus visits to several temples, and a half day city tour. The 12-night Rajasthan FAM starts and ends in Delhi with visits to Mandawa, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Ranakpur, Udaipur, Jaipur, and Agra.
On May 1, 2019, departures will begin for the Kerala FAM, the Tamilnadu FAM, and the South India FAM. The 6-night Kerala FAM will start and end in Cochin with stops in Kumarakom, Periyar, and Marari along the way. Highlights will include opportunities for yachting, fishing, and swimming on Vembanard Lake, while a motor boat tour on Periyar Lake will offer wildlife viewing for animals such as elephants, wild boar, tigers, and more. The 6-day Tamilnadu FAM will travel roundtrip from Chennai with stops in Pondicherry and Mahabalipuram. Highlights will include visiting Chennai’s Art and Broze Gallery and Mahabalipuram’s seven pagodas, plus a chance to explore Pondicherry, which was once the capital of French India before its independence. Meanwhile, the 12-day South India FAM will take travel advisors on a journey from Chennai to Cochin with stops in Mahabalipuram, Pondicherry, Chidambaram, Gangaikonda Cholapuram, Trichy, Madurai, Periyar, Kumarakom, and Marari.
Starting rates for these various FAMs range from $306 pp dbl to $734 pp dbl; including breakast and dinner, transfers, and select activities, but do not include the price for guides, monument entrances, and airfare where applicable.
