The Travel Corporation, with brands such as Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection, Contiki and African Travel, Inc., marked the official opening of its brand-new office in Manhattan last week with a celebration at the 21 Club.

Over the years most of the company’s operations had migrated to the West Coast, but now TTC has firmly re-established itself in the east. The new office on Fifth Avenue is part of TTC’s expansion efforts on the East Coast of the U.S. TTC has also hired 18 additional district sales managers on the East Coast to increase the support to its travel agency partners in the region.

“We started here in New York and we’re here for the long haul,” said Stanley Tollman, founder of TTC, at the 21 Club event, which drew over 200 travel industry leaders. Joining representatives from the various TTC brands were key agency partners, airline industry executives, tourist boards, and members of the media.

“We heard [travel agents] reinforcing that our presence on the East Coast was not sufficient, and we’re extremely pleased to have such a large footprint back in New York,” said Brett Tollman, CEO of TTC, during the event. “Our future is dependent upon your success; we’re in this together. And we thank you for being part of our present and our future.”
