Montpelier Plantation & Beach is offering summer packages in Nevis ranging from sailing excursions to sunset beach BBQs and rum tasting experiences.
The Super Sailing package for four includes two half-day sailing excursions with instruction ranging from sailing basics, and sailing skills improvement, to prepping for sailor qualifications, or charter sailing—also included is a selection of drinks and snacks. An added snorkel trip can be included in the half-day excursion, or the two half-day trips can be combined to include a full-day option that features lunch at a beach bar in St. Kitts (cost not included), and snorkeling. It also includes 3-night accommodations in two Premier Rooms (or upgrade to the 2-bedroom Tamarind Villa), rum punch welcome amenity, daily breakfast for four, a picnic for four, and complimentary transportation to Montpelier’s private beach. Rates start at $2,090 for Premier Rooms, and $3,695 for the Tamarind Villa.
The Family Summer Special: Adventure & Relaxation package, available through Aug. 20, offers guests 40 percent off the price of a second room (when guests book two rooms), complimentary full English breakfast, and complimentary meal offers for children 6-12 when the family dines together for lunch or dinner. Rates start at $205 dbl.
Montpelier also offers a Sunset Beach BBQ for guests with live music and Caribbean-inspired cuisine. Rates are $68 pp for the BBQ, held every Monday at 6 p.m. Reservations can be made when booking or at arrival. Another experience guests can enjoy is the resort’s Rum Tasting Experience in the 300-year-old Mill Privee—the original sugar mill of the plantation, which has been converted to a private dining venue. The tasting session include six rums, rare vintages, and a French rum variety, paired with homemade chocolate. Tastings are held on Sunday nights at 9 p.m. Rates are $65 pp; $95 pp including a 2-course dinner at Montpelier’s Indigo restaurant.
