Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection recently announced new technology enhancements to its River Currents travel advisor booking tool. According to Uniworld president and CEO Ellen Bettridge, improvements to the booking tool came after considering the feedback of travel advisors.

“We value our partner agencies and travel advisors. After all, they engage with us and our technology every day and understand best how the tools can benefit their business. Based on their recommendations, we are delighted to deliver these new updates,” Bettridge said in press materials.

Among the River Currents improvements is a new waitlist functionality for both Uniworld and U by Uniworld that allows advisors to add their clients to a waitlist on selected sold out cruises for a minimal deposit. Other new enhancements include simpler options for sending clients invoices; booking status displays; expanded promo code functionality and messaging that clearly communicates when a code has been successfully applied; and a “Breakdown Section” that shows a clear explanation of applied savings upfront, including shipboard credits, instead of showing this information after the booking is complete.
