Thanks to Recommend Readers

All of us at Seabourn are extremely grateful to the Recommend readers who made us the 2019 Gold Award winners for Best Cruise Line – Small Ship and Best Cruise Line – Ultra-Luxury. We sincerely appreciate your loyalty and your continued confidence in recommending Seabourn to your most discerning clients. Awards are tremendously gratifying, especially when they come from such a knowledgeable and sophisticated group of professionals. But your partnership is truly invaluable to us, and for us there is no greater reward than the pleasure of welcoming your clients at the gangway when they return to sail with us again and again.

Mediterranean Memories

And speaking of returning – over the years we’ve noticed that Seabourn guests often sail with us repeatedly in the Mediterranean. That shouldn’t be a surprise, because the southern coasts of Spain, France, their islands and Italy’s western reaches have enchanted travelers for centuries. Many people make it a habit to return year after year, to explore yet another corner of the Mediterranean coast for whatever secrets they may have missed last time. We plan our Mediterranean itineraries with those travelers in mind – always mixing the larger, better-known ports with smaller, less familiar places they will fondly remember forever, once they see them. After all, it is the thrill of discovery that forms the real magic in travel. We also offer a wide range of itineraries of different durations, from shorter seven-day sailings to 21 days or more for those who want a more extended sabbatical.

The Romance of the Places in Between

Seabourn Mediterranean cruises sail between cities offering abundant, convenient airlift for easy arrivals and departures. It’s important not to concentrate too much on those cities when recommending our voyages, because the real experiential content of the voyage lies in the places in between. Experienced Mediterranean cruisers may feel they “…have done Monte Carlo to Rome.” But they may never have visited tiny Le Lavandou on the Cote d’Azur or driven through blooming lavender fields to Bormes-Les-Mimosas, voted one of Frances’s most beautiful villages. They may have been to Capri, but they probably missed picturesque Ponza, the isle of choice for Roman celebrities avoiding the paparazzi elsewhere. Palma de Mallorca is a wonderful port, but the English-village charm of Mahon and the Moorish-looking, whitewashed fishing villages on Menorca are a completely different experience. Our Mediterranean itineraries are full of these hidden gems: Bastia on Corsica, Bandol and Sète in France, Palamós and Cartagena in
Spain and Santa Margherita Ligure in Italy. Each has a unique character and appeal that will satisfy your clients’ hunger for something different – and have a good chance of becoming a new “favorite place.”

Seabourn Club Savings Mean Many Happy Returns
